Kicking it Into Gear

It's been a productive couple of days. I credit the return to martial arts.

For the last two weeks, I haven't made it to class for one reason or another. I was glad to be giving my elbows a rest, but I didn't realize how much the rest of me missed it - until I started back this week.

I have energy. My mind is clear. We're getting things done that weren't getting done before. I don't feel like I'm constantly in a fog, looking for my brain at the bottom of the coffeepot. My motivation is back. And I'm writing it all down so I'll remember why I don't want to take a break like that again.

I got an Elbow Device that seems to be doing the trick there. I received several compliments on my technique yesterday from a really tough instructor. The martial arts friends were happy to see me. My body looks and feels the way it should. I'm strong and lean and fit and happy.

And that was without adding back kickboxing.

Yet.

Looking forward to doing that next week.

:-)
