March Madness:The CYO State Tournament, Greensburg, PA

So, the St. Joseph Chargers were named Diocesan Champs and got to go to the CYO State Tournament at St. Vincent College in Greensburg, PA. The Middle School kids had a short pep rally for them, which even made it on the evening news.

The next morning, we headed out West, to lovely Greensburg, PA, where the team from the top Philadelphia school beat them in the first round.

Not to be discouraged, the Chargers came back Saturday morning and wiped the floor with the top team from Allentown. Mikey got to play for a while in the last quarter.

The next day, the guys came back and beat the home team from Greensburg. Because they had lost their first game, the best they could do was 5th place, but they were still happy and proud to have come so far.
